The Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) is the only fine-art academy directly under the Ministry of Education, and the most prestigious and renowned art academy in China with a history of 100 years. As the teaching, research and training platform under art management specialty in our school, using digital technology, the Virtual Lab for Art Museum is dedicated to the restoration and planning of exhibition and serves as a digital platform for curatorial practice and theoretical research. At present, the Virtual Curatorial Project, independently developed by our lab, provides virtual simulation curatorial courses, offering hands-on and real world training activities. We have signed strategic cooperation agreements with many art institutions at home and abroad Our goal is to create a rich database of exhibition resources, serve curatorial education and its practical application, and build a global research center for art exhibition and a public platform for art education.
